Royal Family Having Fun While Joining Charities to Help Suicide Prevention

“Mental health is just as important as physical health.” —Duchess Kate

The royal family isn’t your typical political family who simply inherited wealth without learning the value of relationships and hard work. Both Prince William and Prince Harry have had personal encounters with mental health and its devastating side effects.

In his experience with the military, Prince Harry has seen firsthand how trauma and depression is damaging the lives of his fellow soldiers. Prince William has dealt with suicide while working with the homeless and as an air ambulance pilot.

Well, now the war on mental health is receiving some royal help! They have unified multiple charities such as Best Beginnings, CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), Mind, Place2Be, The Mix and YoungMinds to help raise funds and awareness for mental health.

The new campaign called “Heads Together” will host the London marathon in 2017.

“Let’s get our heads together and change the conversation of mental health,” William said.
