This Girl’s Story Is Told So Beautifully, It Haunts Me–There are 640,000 kids in her shoes.

Every year in the U.S., 640,000 children spend time in foster care.

Winner of numerous short film awards, “ReMoved” is the gripping story of a young girl’s journey through the foster care system. It shows the world of abuse and foster-care through a little girl’s eyes, and each second is more heartbreaking AND compelling than the last.

Many people say, “I could never be a foster parent, I would get too attached,” or “those kids are so damaged, there’s no fixing them.” But that’s not what this life is about.

These kids never asked to be put in foster care. They never asked to be separated from their families, shuffled from stranger to stranger with nothing but a black trash bag full of belongings.

ReMoved is an absolutely stunning portrayal of what each of these kids is likely to face. It’s moving, and should not be overlooked.
