After Saying “No” To Sex, Woman’s Brutal Picture Has the Internet Talking

After turning down her boyfriend for sex, he became incredibly aggressive and nearly beat her half to death. Her grueling photos have started a conversation about domestic abuse.

Stephanie Littlewood is a 32-year-old single mother living in Leeds, UK, with her partner, Wayne Hoban. Several days ago Stephanie posted some very disturbing and graphic images on Facebook to show what Hoban did to her after she turned him down for sex.

She details how he nearly beat her to death, and continued to batter her after she had been knocked unconscious.

Stephanie hopes that the graphic images of her injuries will encourage other victims of domestic violence and abuse to step forward and not stay silent.

“He was in a foul mood with me all night and wanted sex with me, but because I turned him down, he turned angry and aggressive. Ragging me around my bed numerous times slamming me back onto it, leaving me in tears under the quilt, he walked out.

Seconds later [he returned] ragging the whole quilt off of me and throwing it onto the floor, gripping me by my ankle and pulling me off the bed. Throwing me onto the floor he then sat on top of me and strangled me to the floor so I couldn’t move, continuously punching me 40-50 times to the left side of my face—breaking my jaw and knocking out 3 teeth (including a back one). Also chipped my front tooth. He knocked me unconscious and continued to beat me!”

After being rushed to the hospital, doctors believed Stephanie had brain damage, or a possible brain bleed.

“6 months later and I’m still awaiting construction work on my bottom teeth. Not to mention how this has affected me emotionally,” she added.

After the assault, Stephanie took to Facebook to share some graphic images of her beaten, bruised and completely battered body. The images were so graphic that we decided to only share this one.

“I posted the pictures online so everybody knows to stay away from him, and so people are aware of it. It has helped me so much to come out and talk about what he did to me—the amount of support I have received has been overwhelming. I’ve also had other women who have suffered the same thing get in contact with me to tell me I have helped them to know they’re not alone.”

After being found guilty in court, Stephanie’s abuser was sentenced to 16 months in prison.

It’s absolutely disgusting the abuse that this young woman endured. She could have died, been left with brain damage or several other physical ailments at the hands of domestic abuse. We admire her courage and bravery in sharing her pictures as a way to connect with others and recover emotionally as well.
