Frankly, I think the enemy of our souls is happy for us to just keep wading around here in the shallows, quoting Bible verses to each other, if that's what it takes to keep us from real healing.
Hugging a butterfly is impossible; the butterfly flits around, touching lightly on a surface before skittering back into flight. Even when they're perched momentarily on a flower, their wings open and close, ready to flutter away in a blink.
Why do we treat psychologists, like they aren't real doctors and mental illness like it isn't real pain? Maybe having better emotional hygiene would lead us to better health in general.
I won't try to hide it-- I'm totally crazy about So You Think You Can Dance. Since this dance with Twitch and Alex was voted America's Favorite Dance for the show's 10th birthday--and since it's sorta about therapy, I thought we should enjoy it in honor of National Dance Day on July 25th. 🙂
